Alex is a Certified Level 2 AcroYoga Instructor, Yoga Alliance RYT-200 instructor, and 100 hour Certified Rocket Yoga instructor. Alex has been trained predominantly in AcroYoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Rocket Yoga, hand balancing, partner acrobatics and Thai massage.
Alex also holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver, specializing in individual, couples and family therapy and is co-founder and owner of The Honest Stand, a plant-based food manufacturing company located in Denver, Colorado.
Alex endeavors to simultaneously utilize her professional education and training as a psychotherapist in conjunction with her knowledge as a yoga and AcroYoga instructor to assist her students in experiencing individual and relational healing through movement and divine play. As part yogi, part acrobat and part psychotherapist, you can expect Alex’s classes to be meditative, challenging, healing and fun!
Jeremy is a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 Instructor who began his practice of yoga in high school after a football injury. While at first his participation in yoga was intended solely for back therapeutics, he quickly came to love the increased physical and mental awareness that the practice offered him. Since high school, Jeremy has developed a passion for strength building, arm balances and inversions in his practice to push outside his mental and physical comfort zones in order to obtain a greater sense of self and consciousness off the mat. This passion ultimately led Jeremy to the Acro Yoga practice three years ago, through which he has enjoyed simultaneously cultivating a greater sense of both strength and sensitivity.
Jeremy endeavors to combine his history with competitive team athletics, and instructing both rock climbing and surfing at a collegiate level, with his knowledge as a Yoga and Acro Yoga instructor to generate strength building practices great for athletes in cross training, yogis looking to become next level practitioners and brand new students interested in trying out new ways to increase their health and fitness. Jeremy ultimately strives to provide a safe environment for practitioners to challenge their physical and mental edges while having fun and increasing a sense of community.
Together, Alex and Jeremy are passionate about helping students increase their fitness while making meaningful connections, enhancing their sense of community and having fun.
